Summary

This own-initiative report deals with the decarbonisation and modernisation of EU fisheries and the development and deployment of fishing gear. The amendments add references to instruments and documents on the common fisheries policy, technical measures, the European Green Deal and Climate Law, renewable and low-carbon fuels, the energy transition of the fisheries and aquaculture sector, and reports of advisory councils and the European Court of Auditors.
