Gender Equality Strategy 2025

2024/2125(INI)·10th term·FEMM / LIBE·INI
Summary

This own-initiative report concerns the Gender Equality Strategy 2025. Many amendments rework a call on the Commission to ensure full and equal access to sexual and reproductive healthcare services and rights — including the right to safe and legal abortion, family planning, contraception and maternal healthcare — with several versions instead stressing Member States' competence; others revise citations to UN conventions and disability rights.

55 roll-call votes

In plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →
