Summary
Through this consultation procedure, Parliament delivers its opinion on the Commission proposal for a Council regulation establishing the Research and Training Programme of the European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom) for the period 2026-2027, complementing Horizon Europe and repealing Council Regulation (Euratom) 2021/765. Parliament approves the Commission proposal, calls on the Council to notify Parliament if it intends to depart from the approved text, and asks to be consulted again if the Council intends to substantially amend it. It instructs its President to forward its position to the Council and the Commission.
