Amending certain Regulations as regards the extension of certain mitigating measures available for small and medium sized enterprises to small mid-cap enterprises and further simplification measures (Omnibus IV)

The dossier amends certain Regulations to extend mitigating measures available for SMEs to small mid-cap enterprises and to introduce further simplification measures (Omnibus IV). The amendments address reduction of administrative burden, the definition and thresholds of small mid-cap enterprises, impact assessments, the priority given to micro and small enterprises, and changes to data-protection provisions including the record-keeping derogation in Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
