EU–Norway Agreement on transfer of passenger name record (PNR) data for the prevention, detection, investigation and prosecution of terrorist offences and serious crime

Through this consent procedure, Parliament examined the draft Council decision on the conclusion, on behalf of the Union, of the Agreement between the European Union and the Kingdom of Norway on the transfer of passenger name record (PNR) data to prevent, detect, investigate and prosecute terrorist offences and serious crime. On the recommendation of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, Parliament gave its consent to the conclusion of the agreement and instructed its President to forward its position to the Council, the Commission and the governments and parliaments of the Member States and of the Kingdom of Norway. Parliament adopted the resolution on 2026-04-29.
