EU-Iceland agreement on transfer of passenger name record (PNR) data to prevent, detect, investigate and prosecute terrorist offences and serious crime
Non-legislative procedure — consent or opinion on an act.
Through this consent procedure, Parliament gives its consent to the conclusion of the Agreement between the European Union and Iceland on the transfer of passenger name record (PNR) data for the prevention, detection, investigation and prosecution of terrorist offences and serious crime. Acting on a request for consent submitted by the Council under Articles 16(2), 87(2), point (a), and 218(6) TFEU, Parliament instructs its President to forward its position to the Council, the Commission and the governments and parliaments of the Member States and of Iceland.
No committee amendments are tracked on AmendEU for this procedure; this page follows its roll-call votes in plenary instead.
