Protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to carcinogens or mutagens at work
The dossier concerns protection of workers from exposure to carcinogens or mutagens at work, amending Directive 2004/37/EC. Amendments revise occupational exposure limit values and transitional periods for substances including welding fumes, cobalt and its inorganic compounds, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, isoprene and 1,4-dioxane; they address combined exposure to multiple substances, SMEs and microenterprises, the gender dimension, firefighters, the European Green Deal and Union Climate Law, and periodic review.
