European Social Fund 2028–2034
This procedure concerns the European Social Fund for 2028 to 2034. Amendments argue the ESF should remain a stand-alone programme with its own budget line and financial envelope, and stress subsidiarity given that social policy is primarily a Member State competence. They add provisions on persons with disabilities, poverty and food deprivation, equal opportunities, rural and transition regions, social partners and civil society participation, skills recognition, and multilevel governance with regional and local authorities.
