Establishing the Instrument for Nuclear Safety Cooperation and Decommissioning for the period 2028-2034 and repealing Regulations (Euratom) 2021/100 and (Euratom) 2021/948

These amendments concern the proposed Instrument for Nuclear Safety Cooperation and Decommissioning covering 2028 to 2034, which merges nuclear safety activities into one programme and repeals earlier Euratom Regulations. MEPs call for increasing the programme envelope above the proposed EUR 966,000,000 and insist on transparency of funds so the budgetary authority keeps control over allocations between the instrument's external and internal components.
