Union support for asylum, migration and integration 2028–2034
This procedure establishes Union support for asylum, migration and integration for 2028 to 2034. The amendments address budgetary nomenclature, participation of third countries subject to fundamental-rights and non-refoulement safeguards, returns and readmission, resettlement, financial incentives for relocation of protection applicants (EUR 500 per transfer), combating illegal migration and smuggling, integration involving local authorities and civil society, fraud prevention, gender equality, and sanctions on non-cooperating third countries.
