Summary

This own-initiative dossier concerns advancing towards a care society and addressing the gender care gap. The amendments add citations referencing the European Pillar of Social Rights (gender equality, work-life balance, childcare, long-term care), the Gender Equality Strategy and Roadmap for Women's Rights, the Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the Barcelona objectives on childcare, healthy ageing, and studies on care and gender; several recitals are deleted.
