Summary

This own-initiative dossier concerns the protection of minors online. The amendments call on the Commission to address minimum age and age verification for social media and video-sharing platforms, parental responsibility, online radicalisation and systemic risks under the Digital Services Act, advertising aimed at children, and prohibiting dark patterns through the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive and a Digital Fairness Act.
