Summary

This own-initiative report concerns ensuring faster registration and uptake of biological control agents. The amendments cite the Sustainable Use of Pesticides Directive, the Farm to Fork and Green Deal pesticide-reduction targets, and the plant protection products authorisation rules, and address the slow assessment of biocontrol substances, reliance on synthetic plant protection products, low-risk and biological alternatives, pollinators, biodiversity and food security.
