Developing a new EU anti-poverty strategy

2025/2095(INI)·10th term·EMPL / FEMM·INI
Summary

This own-initiative report addresses the development of a new EU anti-poverty strategy. The amendments are largely citations added to the recitals (Treaty articles, the European Pillar of Social Rights, ILO and UN conventions, the Social Climate Fund, Roma equality), and call on the Commission and Member States to increase public investment in universal, affordable public services such as education, healthcare, social protection, housing, water, energy and transport.

24 roll-call votes

In plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →
