Summary

Report on the deliberations of the Committee on Petitions in 2024. Amendments revise recitals citing Articles 20, 24 and 227 TFEU and Parliament's Rules of Procedure, the number of petitions and web-portal supporters, rising inadmissibility, transparency and feedback to petitioners, fact-finding visits, the protected status of wolves, and main concerns including the environment, fundamental rights and the rule of law, with references to petitions on conflicts in Gaza and Ukraine.
