Institutional aspects of Artificial Intelligence in the context of the European integration

This own-initiative report addresses the institutional aspects of artificial intelligence in European integration. The amendments stress Parliament's democratic scrutiny and cooperation with the EU AI Office and the AI Board under the AI Act, warn against over-reliance on AI in the legislative process and threats to elections from deepfakes, disinformation and media pluralism, and propose an internal parliamentary AI observatory, AI literacy, and possible Treaty and electoral-law reform.
