Of censure on the Commission
Institutional procedure.
This was a motion of censure on the European Commission, tabled by a group of Members under Rule 131 of the Rules of Procedure. The motion cited the Commission's refusal to disclose text messages between the Commission President and the Pfizer CEO on COVID-19 vaccine procurement, the General Court judgment of 14 May 2025 annulling that refusal, concerns raised by the Court of Auditors over the Recovery and Resilience Facility, the ongoing EPPO investigation into vaccine procurement, and objections to the Commission's use of Article 122 TFEU and its application of the Digital Services Act. Parliament rejected the motion on 2025-07-10.
