The Commission’s 2025 Rule of Law report – annual report 2025

2025/2239(INI)·10th term·AFET / BUDG / LIBE·INI
Summary

The dossier is the Commission's 2025 Rule of Law report annual report. Amendments dispute the Commission's annual assessment as politically biased, invoke Member State competences and national sovereignty under the Treaties, raise concerns about NGO funding and transparency, and reference funding for Hungary and the Pact on Migration and Asylum; others defend civil society, human rights defenders, judicial independence and anti-corruption measures.

32 roll-call votes

In plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →
