2025/2256(INI)·10th term·AFET·INI
Summary

This is an own-initiative report on the 2025 Commission report on Turkiye. The amendments address the accession process, rule of law, human rights, religious minorities, journalists and elected mayors, prison conditions, and Turkiye's low alignment with the EU's common foreign and security policy. They raise Cyprus, including troop withdrawal and Varosha, Eastern Mediterranean and Aegean disputes, refugees, the Istanbul Convention, customs union modernisation, and the Armenian genocide.

28 roll-call votes

In plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →
