Summary

This dossier is a resolution on the 2025 UN Climate Change Conference (COP30) in Belem, Brazil. The amendments add references to the UNFCCC, the Paris Agreement, the European Green Deal, the European Climate Law, biodiversity frameworks and the Global Methane Pledge, and revise text on the EU's net greenhouse gas emission reductions by 2030 against 1990 levels and the United States' withdrawal from the Paris Agreement.
