Boosting skills in the Union – opportunities for vocational education and training in times of transition

This own-initiative procedure addresses boosting skills in the Union and opportunities for vocational education and training in times of transition. The amendments call for a European VET strategy, curricula aligned with labour-market needs, and terminology based on the European Qualifications Framework, and address overqualification, VET attractiveness, fair pay for apprenticeships, teacher shortages, cross-border recognition of qualifications, mobility, reskilling for AI and the green transition, and Erasmus+ funding.
