Summary
The dossier is an own-initiative report on developing civil dialogue under the Treaty of Lisbon. The amendments address cooperation between the EU institutions, Member State authorities and civil society organisations, common rules and minimum standards for consulting interested parties, registers of non-governmental organisations, participation of citizens including linguistic minorities, a possible Civil Society Fund, dialogue with churches and religious communities, and involving civil society in preparing parliamentary reports.
