Summary
This dossier concerns strengthening security and fundamental freedoms on the Internet. The amendments address the Internet as a tool for democratic participation, e-campaigning, e-voting and freedom of expression, privacy and data protection, surveillance, cybercrime and identity theft, the right to delete personal data, e-illiteracy and access, intellectual property, the Council of Europe Convention on Cybercrime, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, and Directive 95/46/EC.
