Summary
The dossier examines the development impact of Economic Partnership Agreements (EPAs). Amendments revise recitals and paragraphs on the Cotonou Agreement and ACP countries' concerns, WTO compatibility under GATT XXIV and goods-only agreements, rules of origin and the most-favoured-nation clause, financing through the European Development Fund and Aid for Trade, loss of customs revenue, Official Development Assistance, and the effect of EPAs on regional integration and food security.
