Emission performance standards for new light commercial vehicles

The dossier sets emission performance standards for new light commercial vehicles. Amendments invoke the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and decarbonisation of transport, address average specific CO2 emissions targets and super-credits, introduce speed-limitation devices and speed limits, require consumer information on CO2 emissions and fuel consumption, and allow manufacturers to average emissions across their fleet with alternative targets for small and niche manufacturers.
