Summary
An own-initiative report on poverty reduction and job creation in developing countries. The amendments promote Local Economic Development strategies, economic diversification and the manufacturing sector, support for SMEs, the ILO Decent Work Agenda and UN Social Protection Floor, fair and equitable trade, the social economy and cooperatives, access to land, water and biodiversity, retention of qualified health and skilled workers, and the Millennium Development Goals.
