Summary
An own-initiative report on transparency in regional policy and its funding. The amendments reference the Aarhus Convention via Regulation 1367/2006, the European Transparency Initiative (ETI), disclosure of EU fund recipients and beneficiary lists for the ERDF and Cohesion Fund, making Member State databases searchable and compatible, European Territorial Cooperation beneficiaries, simplification of procedures, and stronger compliance through guidance, scrutiny and sanctions.
