Summary
An own-initiative report on completing the internal market for e-commerce. The amendments call for a single set of rules for consumers and businesses across the Member States, tackling barriers such as fragmented consumer-protection and VAT rules, strengthening consumer trust, data protection and privacy, payment systems, trust marks, electronic signatures and e-invoicing, and protecting intellectual property rights against counterfeit goods.
