Summary
An own-initiative report on the demographic challenge and solidarity between generations. The amendments address the economic crisis's impact on public finances, ageing populations and declining birth rates, reform of welfare, fiscal and pension systems, intergenerational accounting and sustainability gaps, private versus public pensions, labour-market participation of older workers, lifelong learning and support for families.
