Summary

This own-initiative report concerns the directive on equal treatment between men and women in access to and supply of goods and services. Amendments focus on the Court of Justice's Test-Achats ruling and its effect on insurance pricing and premiums, calling for unisex criteria and risk-based assessment using non-gender factors. They address discrimination on grounds of gender identity, pregnancy, maternity and breastfeeding, access to loans and housing, and equality bodies.
