Summary
This dossier concerns the mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund for redundancies in the manufacture of machinery and equipment in Denmark. The few amendments address the proposed alternative source of payment appropriations from unused European Social Fund funds, recalling that the EGF was created as a separate instrument, and note shortcomings in implementing the framework programmes on competitiveness and innovation during the economic crisis.
