Summary
This dossier concerns mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund for redundancies in the shipbuilding industry in Denmark. The amendments confirm Denmark's eligibility under the Regulation, note the Odense Steel Shipyard dismissals and the application's timing, assess the coordinated package of personalised services including training, business start-up incentives and subsistence allowances, and welcome involvement of local municipalities while criticising delays and the position on the Fund's future.
