A consultation proposal on judicial cooperation in civil matters concerning jurisdiction, applicable law and recognition and enforcement of decisions in matters of matrimonial property regimes. The amendments address choice and form of the agreement on applicable law, the scope covering management and liquidation of marital property, public-policy and overriding mandatory rules, recognition of decisions and authentic instruments, protection of a vulnerable spouse, and the family home.
