Mutual recognition of protection measures in civil matters
A proposed regulation on the mutual recognition of protection measures in civil matters. Amendments provide for recognition without special procedure via a certificate between authorities of the Member State of origin and of recognition, adaptation of unknown protection measures, information and assistance to the protected person in their language, references to CEDAW, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Hague Convention, women's support services and shelters, data collection on protection orders, and rights of defence for the affected person.
