Summary
This dossier concerns a proposed directive on credit agreements relating to residential immovable property. The amendments revise recitals on the financial crisis, irresponsible lending and borrowing, and foreign-currency loans, and address the scope of the harmonised Union framework, consumer protection, credit intermediaries, cross-selling, tying and bundling, the calculation of the annual percentage rate of charge, and conflicts of interest in the remuneration of creditors' and credit intermediaries' staff.
