Summary
This dossier sets minimum health and safety requirements regarding workers' exposure to electromagnetic fields. Amendments rework provisions on repealing Directive 2004/40/EC, the treatment of short-term and long-term effects including possible carcinogenic effects, periodic Commission assessment and revision, and the definitions of adverse health effects, exposure limit values, orientation values and action values, with exemptions for medical resonance procedures and implants.
