Summary
A proposed regulation on the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) supporting the Investment for growth and jobs goal for 2014-2020. Amendments revise how ERDF support is concentrated and allocated by region type, link it to the Europe 2020 strategy and cohesion policy, and broaden eligible investments to SMEs, the social economy, social, health, educational, housing and cultural infrastructure, sustainable urban development, energy efficiency, climate-compatible economies and sustainable transport.
