Re-use of public sector information

A proposal on the re-use of public sector information. The amendments revise recitals on open-data policies and re-use of documents held by public sector bodies, an obligation to make generally available documents re-usable, scope extended to libraries, museums, archives and local authorities, machine-readable formats and metadata, charging limited to marginal costs, open licences, intellectual property and data-protection safeguards, and national PSI portals.
