Summary

This dossier establishes the Pericles 2020 programme for exchange, assistance and training to protect the euro against counterfeiting. The amendments address transnational cooperation including with third countries and the highest-counterfeiting areas, the eligible participants and actions, awareness-raising for citizens, cooperation with the ECB and Europol, grants and co-financing rates, and protection of the Union's financial interests through OLAF and the Court of Auditors.
