Summary

This dossier concerns the Pericles IV programme for protecting the euro against counterfeiting for 2021-2027. Amendments restate the objective of combating counterfeiting and related fraud of euro banknotes and coins to enhance the Union economy and citizens' trust. They address implementation by the Commission with Member States, cooperation with the European Central Bank, Europol, Eurojust and the EPPO, involvement of third countries, evaluation and indicators.
