Summary
Draft amendment to the Staff Regulations of European Union officials. The amendments concern the 'solidarity levy' and its rate, recruitment of staff on the broadest geographical basis, grades and automatic step advancement, promotion conditioned on duties and experience, working hours and leave, the new AST/SC function group, contract staff, and pay developments relative to national civil servants.
