Summary
Own-initiative report on implementation of the Professional Qualifications Directive 2005/36/EC. Amendments address free movement of persons and workers, cross-border mobility and recognition of professional qualifications, modernisation of the Directive, the number of regulated professions and automatic recognition, a 'profession card' and validation of professional skills, and use of the Internal Market Information System with respect for data protection.
