Summary
This is an own-initiative report on tackling early school leaving. The amendments cite the share of early school leavers in the EU and the EU 2020 target of reducing it to 10%, links to youth unemployment, poverty and demographic change, differences between and within Member States, subsidiarity and a European framework, cooperation and exchange between Member States, and adapting education systems to labour-market needs.
