Summary

This own-initiative report concerns women's situation in war. The amendments address the protection of women in conflict zones, including against rape used as a weapon of war, forced prostitution and other assault, a special envoy and gender mainstreaming in EU external action, the role of local women's organisations in pre-conflict, conflict and post-conflict situations, women's economic security and property rights, justice reform and the International Criminal Court, health and psychological support for victims, and missing persons.
