Own-initiative report on the implementation of EU water legislation ahead of an overall approach to European water challenges. Amendments add citations on plant protection products, biocidal products and habitats, and recitals on harmonising water and chemicals legislation, the phase-out of priority hazardous substances, freshwater biodiversity, the vulnerability of water to climate change, and water as a public asset and shared resource.
