European Banking Authority (EBA): adjustment of procedural modalities

This dossier adjusts procedural modalities of the European Banking Authority (EBA). The amendments revise recitals on the single supervisory mechanism conferring tasks on the European Central Bank, the creation of a banking union with a single rulebook and common deposit insurance, safeguards and voting arrangements protecting non-euro-area and opt-out Member States, the EBA's role, a supervisory handbook, stress-testing powers, and mechanisms for settling disagreements between the EBA and the ECB.
