Summary
This dossier concerns State aid rules on the handling of complaints and gathering of information. Amendments would focus the Commission on cases that genuinely distort competition in the internal market, require complainants to demonstrate they are interested parties, empower the Commission to impose fines and periodic penalty payments capped as a share of turnover, provide for sector inquiries, and emphasise reporting to the European Parliament given the consultation-only legal basis.
