Summary
A report on eco-innovation as a route to jobs and growth through environmental policy. The amendments connect eco-innovation to the Europe 2020 strategy and the transition to a sustainable economy, job creation across skill levels (including for young people and through SMEs and the self-employed), the bioeconomy and renewable energy, education, vocational training and lifelong learning, retraining of workers to green sectors, and benefits in the EU and developing countries.
