EU's external aviation policy - Addressing future challenges

An own-initiative report on the EU's external aviation policy and future challenges. The amendments stress the sector's contribution to the EU economy and jobs, fair competition and trade defence instruments, fair-competition clauses in air services agreements with third countries, the International Civil Aviation Organisation and a global emission-trading scheme, the Single European Sky and SESAR, regional and hub airports, the EU-US air transport agreement, low-cost airlines, and ILO standards.
