Summary

The dossier concerns the implementation of Council Directive 2000/78/EC establishing a general framework for equal treatment in employment and occupation. Amendments revise recitals and paragraphs on discrimination on grounds of religion or belief, disability, age and sexual orientation or gender identity, unemployment among young people, ethnic minorities and older workers, the burden of proof, remedies and sanctions, homophobia, and case-law of the European Court of Justice.
